DLNA Server Access Control Broken

Hello Devs, This would be hard to replicate and I'm not on the latest beta; however, I had something odd happen today and I wanted to share. I use the DLNA of MediaMonkey for adult content, that being said I also have it set to not share with new devices by default. This means I normally have to ope...

Re: Full System Lock (cause unknwon)

I am trying it's not something that happens all the time, I'm logging to file and file grew to 85 megs so restarting the file to make it a bit easier to work with. [REMOVED] Had system freeze for a few seconds but was not related to MM, believed it was until I checked PID in log. Sorry for that, I'm...

Full System Lock (cause unknwon)

I've been having this weird issue with MM5 where it will just lock up my entire system. I'm not sure what is causing it exactly I'm running debugview to try and capture it but I think it only happens when the laptop comes back from a sleep (I use sleep on it nightly). I'll provide any information I ...

Re: DLNA/UPnP Limitations

It appears I can actually make MediaMonkey crash if I just try to load a larger data set, for example if I try to get it to show me ALL my music files from the DLNA server it will go not responding and actually crash. I will redo this and submit the crash report. Edit: Error Log has been submitted. ...

Re: MediaSharing as a service? [#11274]

When you upgrade mediamonkey, you will need to Stop the service update mediamonkey, start the service, go remove mediamonkey from firewall rules then re-add it. I have this problem every time I update but it takes only like 10 15 minutes to resolve. Server 2012 R2 Also it's normal for the service to...

Re: DLNA/UPnP Limitations

From DLNA to playlist on worktation. Files are most likely not on the workstation MM DB (I've yet to find a fast way to add all files from DLNA to workstation MM DB). Freeze appears to be permanent... at least a good 20 minutes so far with nothing changing. Memory usage has capped at 124, 328 KB and...

DLNA/UPnP Limitations

Hello All, I recently decided to upgrade Media Monkey on both the DLNA server and my workstation. The latest Beta Build was installed. There are some parts of the DLNA that seem to work better (listing all tracks for example); however, I'm facing an issue that kind of comes and goes. I've seen it in...

Re: Various Issues regarding the MediaMonkey DLNA server

Sorry all had to run out for some family functions. Based on cpu usage I think the DB is done optimizing (no longer spiking one core at 100%). It appears to be somewhat repaired, that one artist I used in my example is loading content, but there are still some odd things happening like certain artis...

Re: Various Issues regarding the MediaMonkey DLNA server

Both client and server should be on latest, I'm not sure when it was last optimized, I can try this. Not sure how long it will take since it's a huge library. As a side note, is there the ability or future planning of being to offload the DB to a dedicated DB Server? 4.1.14.1813 on client 4.1.14.181...

Various Issues regarding the MediaMonkey DLNA server

Hello all, So I have two issues that I'd like to mention and I can provide log files and debug files if required. They both revolve around the MediaMonkey DLNA server. Just to clear things up, I have mediamonkey installed on a server running as a DLNA server. I installed it on the server because it ...

DLNA File Names

Hello,

Would it be possible to control how the DLNA server names the files? Currently the name a file gets is something along the lines of ItemID=####.mp3. Could the DLNA server have the option of replacing those names with human readable names?

Thank you,

I was obviously not looking at the proper tools. I will make a new wishlist for the cases it does not resolve.

Re: File Copy Name Overwrite

http://imgur.com/a/296Jb I don't see where you see that it will change anything in regards to copying files from the DLNA server. This only appears to be able to select the file name/structure for files you are moving into your library, this is not the case for most of my file copies. IE my linux bo...

I looked at that section but I don't see how it would help or change the behavior or a file copy.

File Copy Name Overwrite

Hello All, Would it be possible to have a section in the options screen pertinent to vile copies? I use MediaMonkeys DLNA Server to share my music library to all my different devices, sometimes if a friend is over or I want a copy of the file on the computer I'll just use the copy function from the ...
