Unable to copy files from media server.
Finally given up trying to sort this...hopefully somebody else may know. Android phone with media monkey installed , latest MM on the PC. I've connected to the MM on the PC using WiFi and the 'Media Servers' button on the android app and I've clicked 'allow access' on the box that came up on the PC....

Scan on startup not working.
Version : 4.1.29.1910 Windows 10 Pro 64bit I run MM with my library stored on my NAS. I have all my folders (only 2 with multiple sub-folders) set to 'scan on startup' and 'continually scan for changes'. Since the update to ver 1910, I have to manually press INS to get it to scan new files. I does s...

Re: Running MediaMonkey as a Service
I have never managed to get media monkey working as a service, I use a Microsoft account to log into my PC, MM doesn't like it, it seems to insist that you use a local account to log into the PC for it to work and I do not have one..it's been like this for a Long long time.

Re: UPnP Install as Service Logon Failure
If you are entering the normal login you use for the PC and its failing.
You need to add the username that you log in to the PC with onto the 'allow to create service' list using the local policy editor.
I had exactly the same and it fixed that issue.

Re: SERVICE installed, but not working
Conection failed when on "service" only : so this needs to be resolved, i'm not the only one :) Scanning files: You do not need to scan files on each start-up. My setting: options / library / file monitor / (define folders to scan) scan continuously (but NOT on start-up!). When you add ne...

Re: SERVICE installed, but not working
Unfortunately not, connection failed also....so there's more going on. I did notice though when installed as a service and close the app, if you look at the task manager list. THIS is what it shows in the background processes list (for some reason) MediaMonkey (32 bit) Mediamonkey64helper.exe Mediam...

Re: SERVICE installed, but not working
I found a workaround, it may actually show what the issue may be. I had the same issue, just as a test I set up a SECOND UPnP MediaMonkey server different name, different port. I then installed the UPnP server as a service... All of a sudden the FIRST UPnP MediaMonkey server appeared, even when the ...

Re: Renaming songs
Looks to me like the tagging information was incorrect on the album and you had auto-organise toggled on.

Re: iTunes (Windows) & MM
I converted from iTunes to Mediamonkey , unfortunately I had to rescan all my music CDs covers over the space of a week to be 100% sure they were correct.
But since I did that I've found it's well worth the effort to have the correct covers , even iTunes had it wrong on more than a few.
