Hi
I just bought an airport express to stream music from ipad/spotify to the airport express/speakers.
On my pc laptop i have Windows 10 and MediaMonkey installed.

Re: Moving music library
Associated Art files, log files and Lyrics files should be moved (there is a confirmation for that). However if you want everything moved a Cut & Paste of the Parent folder in the Location/My Computer node is the easiest method. If i use the cut and paste method. I also need to open "add/r...

Re: Renaming file title
There is no undo. You also didn't indicate what process you used. You can use Tools > Autoo-Tag from Filename to get the correct information from the filenames if available: http://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index.php/WebHelp:Auto-Tag_from_Filename/4.0 I was using the auto organise and then auto tag ...

Re: Moving music library
Hi, Make sure the location you're moving the files to is also monitored by MM, then just move the files over. MM will automatically update the file location in your library. that approach would just make duplicates not move library. The thing is that i want to move the main library folder which inc...

Re: Moving music library
Send To > Folder, does not maintain existing folder structure, it just add all files to that folder. Either use Auto-Organize Files as suggested or Cut & Paste the Folder from the Media Tree to the new destination. If i use auto organise, do i choose the main library folder in the media tree? O...

Re: Moving music library
You do not need to do that, you simply Browse files you want to move to new location and after you select them right click and use Auto organize files option to Move them to new location according to destination mask (Use F1 to open Online Help). Feel free to ask more if you need any help about Aut...

Re: Need help setting up MM
You can use Collections (File > Manage Collections) with the Location Criteria to create multiple Libraries within MediaMonkey (Gold feature). Theres just one thing i dont understand. Its very easy to mess up the multiple libraries tabs. Theres no way to pin or lock those tabs to the specified loca...

Re: Need help setting up MM
Yes, and that will work better with MediaMonkey. Are your media files stored in that location? If Add it in the File > Add/Rescan Files dialog and let scan that location. Yes, i have 4 Folders in that location which i look at as 4 different libraries that i like to seperate from eachother. After th...

Re: Need help setting up MM
I don't know. Depends on where you have your files stored. Note that a Mapped Drive isn't recommended with MediaMonkey, just use the UNC Path to the File Server on the ShieldTV. Im not sure if i know what you mean. Instead of accessing the mapped drive i can access the same folder typing into the b...

Re: Need help setting up MM
I have managed to map ShieldTV as a network drive on my PC. The music files are in a folder called "com.plexapp.mediaserver.smb".Lowlander wrote:You'll need to setup a network share (likely Samba), so check if this is even possible on the Shield TV.
Is this the right network share you are referring to?
