MM on Linux would indeed be great. I switched to Linux right after DSD support (I've been waiting years for that feature) was finally introduced in MM5 as I didn't want to use Win 10 or later - thanks to Microsofts built-in spyware.

Is it possible to play .dsf DSD files without auto-conversion to PCM 24/44 via Mediamonkey without using a DLNA device (.i.e. just MM5+USB DAC)? I can't get it to work despite using the ASIO output plugin.

Media Monkey 5 is well into a beta phase and I haven't seen any signs of DSD support. In fact, things seem to be going the opposite way :( a lot of time being spent on integrating MM with Google Play's MP3 operation. What exactly does that mean: One will be able to buy mp3's from Googles Play Store...

Thanks for the info. I thought id3 was the problem as my Android smartphone isn't able to play any .flac files I ripped and tagged with MM (whether corrupt files or not) except when using VLC but then again it shows strange tag entries varying from the ones on Windows/MM/mp3tag/VLC.

Unfortunately .flacs that got damaged while using the old version remain buggy.
Any idea how to fix them? Deleting tags or re-tagging (tried both MP3Tag and Mediamonkey) doesn't seem to help.
