The configuration looks exactly the same as in your screenshot.
(Tried "global" on and off but that does'nt make a difference.)

Some Hot-keys not working [#13989]

I tested so far: Ctrl-O > "Stop" Ctrl-F > "Search" Alt-Enter > "Play Now" BTW: MM4 works so perfectly well for quite a while now, that I visit the forum much less frequently and i guess thats the same for many others. So I found merely by chance the good news that MM5 is on its way and ready for tes...

"Simplified List": columns can't be resized or (de)selected

In "Simplified List"-view the drawbars to resize columns are missing
and the context-menu "Choose columns" does not work.
(In "List filter"-view both work fine)

Feature request: Stop Button for the player

In the player I see only the ">" - button, functioning like the "Play/Pause" button in MM4. Did you guys forget to integrate the stop-button there? ( After starting and "stopping" any video the video-panel (frame?) does not go away, although "Art & Detailed View" is on "off". Makes sense for the pla...

"Overlays" over stopped video's still images [#13964]

How to reproduce: 1. Play any video 2. Stop video (still remains) 3. Change focus to another overlapping application in the background or choose "show desktop" (win7) 4. Change focus to MM again Result: The still is "overlayed" partially or completely by the previous application or the desktop backg...

Re: Poll: Media Tree Nodes with sub-nodes useful or not?

Around that stable “kernel”, extension (this is the name used in MM5) can be added to extend the functionality, like this sub-node extension. Making features optional by the way of extensions is surely the best solution one can wish for, because everyones needs and preferences can be met. I am comp...

Re: Poll: Media Tree Nodes with sub-nodes useful or not?

I must admit that I haven't been testing mm5 much yet Me too. Was my first shot today. I'm not quite sure but I think the early mm3 did had them too Yes, they have been there from the beginning, as far as I remember. Thats why I got so damned used to them ... ;-). and there was a script to implemen...

Poll: Media Tree Nodes with sub-nodes useful or not?

They are intentionally eliminated. They were hard to navigate anyway. Instead you can search them in the grid view just by typing the first letters. http://forum.mediamonkey.com/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=86861 To me these subnodes* have always been one of the features of MM I found most useful and that ...

Re: openSuSE Leap 42.1 + mediamonkey

- I'd suggest to switch of skinning, because I always get destroyed popup windows, especially with error or warning messages. One can see the title, but no text and no buttons. Some non-standard skins seem to behave a little better. For example: http://www.mediamonkey.com/addons/browse/item/g-monke...

Very useful! Thank you, Steegy!

Using MM for many years now and there are still gems like this left to be found! I am in the process of getting rid of (lots of..) unrated and sub standard music that has piled up over the years. For me listening to a preview of 20 seconds is mostly enough to decide if its worth keeping it. This is ...

Re: SUB GENRES

Custom Tree nodes: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=19168&hilit=magic+nodes Magic Nodes split function is nice for displaying subgenres, but lacks one feature for organizing them: drag & drop. And as far as I can see, MM's option to use multiple genres for the same tracks by usi...

Re: Ubuntu.... mediamonkey.... meant to be..?

Just a short note re. 1 - I can't promise anything yet, but some recent tests and development show that a native Linux version is possible. It certainly won't be out there in just few months, but hopefully not many either... Jiri As soon as that happens, I will buy a new license. Promised! Love you...

Re: "please comment if you see any glaring omissions."

The MM-Wiki already contains a lot of useful technical information. Improving it may be the way to go?
