Hi, I experience the same issue (wrong/missing Album Art after some synchs with iPod Video 5.5G 80GB using MM 2.5.5.998). It seems that you can trigger the issue by deleting some tracks on the iPod (which are on the synchronization list) using MediaMonkey, and then synchronizing again (which puts th...

iPod synching issues / SoundCheck

Hi, I'm using an iPod 5.5G 80GB with MediaMonkey version 2.5.5.998. When I rebuild the iPod device database, not only all the playcounts on the iPod become zero, but also the added date becomes a strange date in the future (eg. 4-2-2036). Also, as mentioned in other posts, the iPod album artwork get...

Hi, I'm experiencing the same issue. I use MediaMonkey 2.5.5.998 to synchronize audio files to my iPod (5.5G, Video that is). Since MM can't synchronize video files, I use iTunes to do that. But everytime I synch some videos, iTunes starts mis-interpreting the volume leveling tags. After that, when ...

Player Ratings Synchronization features question

Hi, I have a question about the way portable devices (mp3 players) synchronize with MediaMonkey. Currently I have an iPod which synchs all changed ratings and playcounts (including last played time) to and FROM the device to MediaMonkey. As I find these two features (ratings and playcounts) very imp...

Unicode support

Hi Dale, Once again, thanks for your plugin - in the form of feedback (c; It seems that Pretty Pictures doesn't have Unicode support and/or doesn't escape special characters. When looking at albums without album art (so that the title and artist is shown in the album box) that contain unicode charac...

automatic (un)installer

Hi Dale, Is it possible that the script installer looks for a previous version and removes the old version before installing ? After installing v0.50 and v0.51 I have now two entries in the Add or Remove Software control panel. However, when I uninstall v0.50 it uninstalls v0.51 as well. Thanks in a...

Problem solved

Hi Dale, The script error occurs everytime when starting MediaMonkey in FlashPage.html. My MediaMonkey starts in the Library node which doesn't show any tracks/albums to browse. The message is in HTML saying that it hasn't detected flash, but that you can bypass Flash detection anyway. When clicking...

Dale, Wonderful script - this is just the interface upgrade that MediaMonkey needed! A very intuitive way to browse through your collection. Feedback: *) When I use version 0.5 and 0.51 using MM 2.5.5.983 and IE 7, I get the following error message upon starting MM: An error has occurred in the scri...

Hi Trixmoto,

Thanks for your answer.
It still is strange, since eg. Nero, CdBurnerXPPro and ImgBurn all offer me other (slower) burn speeds, only MediaMonkey not.
I have a NEC DVD-RW which can burn CD's up to 24x speed. Maybe a firmware update of the device will help.

Hi, I use MediaMonkey 2.5.5.980 together with an iPod Photo 40 GB. Sometimes after synching I find some songs on the iPod that have no album art, although the original song (still) has album art. I can't seem to find a correlation of when album art misses for which song. I thought that this was a pr...

change CD burn speed

Hi, I'm using Mediamonkey 2.5.5.980, and was wondering if/how it is possible to change the CD burn speed. When I select tracks to burn and see the Burn CD dialog, I can't change the speed. It seems to be fixed on the maximum (8x) speed for that medium. Since burning at that speed often leads to unsu...

It is something I ...

Re: Volume levelling and the iPod

Have you turned on Sound Check in your iPod's menu ? This way you can set the iPod to read (apply) or ignore volume leveling's tags.
