Re: Auto-synch list selection problem

Okay, thanks for the tip. I wasn't aware of the fact that (currently) renaming nodes in the tree is different than selecting all the items from that node and renaming all those items. Do I understand correctly from That would avoid this issue for now that this behaviour *will* be the same 'in the fu...

playcounts of iPod zero after rebuilding device database

Hi, I was wondering whether this is a bug or a harmless feature. I'm using MediaMonkey build 2.5.4.971 and an iPod Photo. When rebuilding the complete device database of the iPod, all the playcounts of the songs on the iPod are reset to zero. The playcounts of the songs itself (which reside in the l...

Jiri,

I didn't have the problem using the modified WMDM driver. However, MediaMonkey was painfully slow when an iPod was inserted.
I'll replace the WMDM driver with the old WMDM driver to gain some speed in the detection process. If the problem occurs again I'll let you know.

* I select the album 'Loveland' for synchronization * I double-check that the album is on the synchronization list * I synchronize the iPod * I select the album, so all the tracks are shown * I rename the album (all the tracks) to another name 'Loveland 2006' * The album is removed from the synchron...

renamed items aren't recognized on synchronization list

Hi, When selecting which items (albums/artists/tracks) are on the synchronization list for a certain device, renaming the item makes the item disappear from the synchronization list. It would be logical that only renaming an item (album, artist, or track) would keep the item on the synchronization l...

Jiri,

I'll try the new WMDM driver. However, since the problem hasn't occurred anymore, I won't be able to tell whether the bug was just an incident, or that the new WMDM driver does it's new job okay.

I'll keep you informed...

Hi Jiri, I did NOT use the modified WMDM driver. All I did was stopping Google's Picasa. I use Picasa for transfering my photos from a digital camera to my computer. After stopping Picasa, MediaMonkey recognized the iPod correct again. This was the first time that Picasa and MediaMonkey had 'trouble...

Picasa + iPod + MediaMonkey != okay ?

Strangely enough, when exiting Google's Picasa, it works again. So it seems that Picasa ('s Media Detector ?) interrupts some calls. I don't know whether this behaviour is new for this beta build, or that this is the first time that it occurred. If you're interested I have a debug log of a successfu...

Hi Jiri, I used the last official version before this version, and synchronizing with the iPod always worked perfectly. After installing the latest beta release it stopped functioning. You still can see the d_iPod.dll device plugin and it still has the correct synchronisation list. I haven't changed...

Error on recognizing iPod

Hi, I'm using MM 2.5.4.969 and an 4th gen iPod Photo. Since this release (regression error ?) MediaMonkey doesn't seem to recognize the iPod correctly. When I attach the iPod it creates a new device plugin using d_WMDM.dll for the iPod instead of using its own existing iPod device plugin (d_iPod.dll...

<bump> Hi, Since I use the Device Property window *a lot* to change the tracks that MediaMonkey synchronizes to the iPod, I would really love to see the resize window option implemented. The standard (and fixed) size of the window is very small, especially when your library consist of lots and lots ...

This "wishlist item" gets my vote as well, since I also sometimes find tracks with unsynchronized (ID3v2) tags. It would be great if Mediamonkey could check for these tags as well.

Thanks in advance,

charlieMOGUL.
