Re: Where is the Album Artist node in the Media Tree?

In MM3, right-click the Library node (in the tree) -> Options -> Choose Tree Nodes.

Yeah I still use MM3, but I guess in MM4 it might be something similar.

No need for that; Hover the mouse over the player's progress bar, and turn the mouse wheel. I think it's 10 seconds steps.

Re: Import tag info (track titles) from .txt files?

That's really strange that it doesn't appear in the menu. Adding the shortcut to this menu item means it's must be there and working. Otherwise the shortcut won't work. Are you sure you're looking in the TOOLS menu?

MM3 and MM4 handle the menus the same way.

Re: Import tag info (track titles) from .txt files?

In MM4 scripts are saved to the user folder . So it might be one of these folders: If you installed the script for a single user it would be at: Windows 7 / Vista: C:\Users\_your username_\AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey\Scripts\Auto Win XP: C:\Documents and Settings\_your username_\Application Data\Roa...

Re: Infinite Playback

I quite don't understand its purpose. What's the difference with Auto-DJ set to play your entire library?

Re: Tags automatiques

7 pistes max s'affichent par défaut, il faut cliquer sur la petite flèche pour faire afficher toutes les pistes d'un album.
Cette options peut être modifiée:

Re: Helium skins - Updated 2010-05-30

Sorry but I don't see any white background on the different view modes.

If you did so, try unticking [Override Skin Backgrounds] checkmark in Tools|Options|Skins.

Re: Tags automatiques

Ceci est normal si l'option [Déduire les propriétés des pistes] est cochée.
Outils | Options | Bibliothèque.

Cela s'applique seulement aux pistes nouvellement ajoutées à la bibliothèque.

Re: Preserving Variables and Not Re-Executing Code

By "ending the session" I meant ending MediaMonkey. Global variables will retain their values until then. Secondly, it's not a good idea (it's against structural programming) to have code outside of subs or functions (though variables are OK). You can also use ini or registry functions to keep varia...

I think the best working example you can get is MonkeyRok:

Re: Preserving Variables and Not Re-Executing Code

What exactly is your goal?
GIL wrote:How to preserve global variables
Global variables are defined outside of subs, usually before first Sub. They retain their values until session ends.

Re: How does a SSD drive behave with mm.db

I Agree with Teknojnky. The time to complete the database optimization depends on: • database size & scattered level • computer processor speed • disk access speed • patience level you can provide... Re: How does a SSD drive behave with mm.db

But be aware that file defragmentation has no impact on (and is not the same as) database optimization.
File | Maintain Library | Optimize Database

Defrag will not make your library faster if the database is scattered.

Re: How to detect the BPM of m4a files?

You can do it manually (with any file type) with BPM Tapper : http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... =2&t=15474
