Re: User Interface bugs and enhancements

Again I disagree, but that's why it was a recommendation. Band members and performer aliases aren't really specific to a track, so it's not 3NF from a data perspective to have to keep all of that information in every track. And the cases we've mentioned are easy to track, but I don't want to have to...

Re: User Interface bugs and enhancements

there's five custom fields that can be used for the different band's and the different names. type them in there then when you search for the beatles all those will show up also. Sort of, but I don't think that really solves the problem. Like I said it's a two pronged problem. Artists with differen...

Re: User Interface bugs and enhancements

User Interface bugs and enhancements

Nothing major just some annoyances when modifying lots of tags. 1) Ctrl-A doesn't work in text fields (like composer) 2) Why does the text box get selected all when the track changes. I'm modifying a tag, the playing music changes, and then I overwrite what I've already written. This is really frust...

I don't have much in terms of helpful info, but I finally disabled the scrobbler plug-in for 3 reasons. 1) Reliability. It works for a while gets confused and stops working. If I quit and restart MM then it starts working again, but it's lost what it missed. 2) Occasional duplicates. I didn't see th...

Not even out of beta and I have feature requests: 1) Only submit the 1 artist to last.fm if there are more than 1, because "Bob Dylan; Tom Petty" doesn't match any artists on there side. I guess just pick the first 1, which at least for me is normally the primary artist. 2) iPod support would be gre...

From the WFM Wikipedia page: "Works for me", commonly used on bug tracking systems and online chat to describe a problem as not reproducible. I'm current using BPM analyzer with MM Gold 3.0.2b1 on Vista. Appears to pick up bpm's if I run the analyzer before putting the file in the file monitored dir...

Get a little of both: http://openpandora.googlepages.com/

Listen to openpandora and record it to last.fm. I'd like to figure out a) how to integrate this into MM and b) possibly get it to record to ilike as well.

Missing key bindings [4179]

These may have not worked in MM2.5, when editing text boxes Ctrl-A does not select all and Shift-Click does not select from the previous spot. Nothing major just a couple of polish annoyances.

A new (old) player in the market

Appear that Amarok is inching closer to a windows port. Though personally I think it is second to MM (especially MM3), this is the most direct comparable media player. Fortunately many of it's features have been emulated in MM through scripts.

I re-enabled startup scan and I still can't terminate it. RC3 Gold on Vista, monitoring a large collection on an entire drive.

I just tried it the one time and then disabled start-up scan. I'm running on Vista if that makes any difference. I'll re-enable it when I get home and test it again.

Dropped the monitor and added it back and it's working again. Thanks.

Also, I left the startup scan enabled, but can't terminate it once it starts.
