Re: multiple folder for playlists - organizing many playlists

Hi, I used to have the database being placed on the RAID (which is a 50 in my case), but changed back to have it locally for speed and stability reasons. I did not try with MediaMonkey though, but with itunes there have been problems every now and then of not finding the db on the network drive.. So...

Re: RegExp Find & Replace 3.6 w/ 101 presets (2009-07-02)[MM2+3]

great script - thx a lot! one question though: how can I configure the icons placed next to the search field? Especially to get rid of the big tabs "increment play" and "decrement play". I do need the search box, but in the MM configuration of the search menu there are no actions from regexp find & ...

Re: moving library from NAS to new computer local

update: Hi, just wanted to add, that I am using MM gold now and I do like the program a lot. I think it has all the features I was talking about. The one and only missing feature is a support of moving music and database to be used on a different computer like also asked for in this thread. Hopefull...

Re: music collection and database on pc and laptop

Hi, so at the moment there is more or less no solution for this scenario? This is sth. which worked quite well with itunes actually. I did not like it, but it was flexible in this scenario. It was able to copy the library to the laptop and just configure a different location for the music files (bei...

Re: music collection and database on pc and laptop

thx for the reply and idea! But I think it's not a convenient solution for me since I make extensive use of the playlists. I have hundreds of them which I change all the time. (because I prepare parts of dj-sets for lot's of different situations, styles,.. and organize them in subfolder structure) S...

music collection and database on pc and laptop

Hi, Sorry for that second post - I posted one in Synchronisation, but since I get no answers there, I try it here - maybe I was wrong with that question in the synchronisation forum.. I read media monkey help and some forum posts about synchronisation, but did not get an idea how to deal best with m...

first 12 seconds get skipped

Hi,

when selecting the next song from my playlist the first 12 seconds are skipped automatically. How can I get rid of this behaviour, since especially the very first seconds would be important to me to hear..

cheers,
B

Re: music collection and database on pc and laptop

Hi,

is this so trivial nobody gives an answer? Or too difficult so there is none - don't think so..

So please give me a short notice where to find a good way to deal with that situation!

thx,
B

Hi, I read media monkey help and some forum posts about synchronisation, but did not get an idea how to deal best with my situation. Re: multiple folder for playlists - organizing many playlists

Hi Lowlander,

thx for the reply. Creating playlists with sub-nodes is working well.

I just found out how to save the mediamonkey database. Is there a way of changing the given directory?

cheers,
Bernhard

multiple folder for playlists - organizing many playlists

Hello, I try Mediamonkey because I miss certain features in Winamp (including available plugins) which are: - extensive database support, customized possibilities to manage and organize a huge mp3 collection, enhancing the mpr-tags with more information like Klassifikation might do the job here. - w...
