Poll: MTP/MSC - What sync mode do you use?

For those with a MTP/MSC connected phone, I'd like to ask you guys what sync mode do you use? Please describe, and update stats up to your reply. As for me, I use MSC mode: PRO: very fast, particularly with large syncs CONS: need to manually switch to MSC mode manually each time. Sats MSC: 1 MTP: 0

Re: Running same library on 2 computers - Best strategy

I don't like really the idea to change the drive ids....don't know if other programs/system features could suffer from this.... synctoy for example..

Re: Running same library on 2 computers - Best strategy

I should try to create a portable install copying data from the existing one. Are all MM files into its folder?

So there's no point trying, if it is a well-known issue...

Do you personally use this approach?

Darkening sliders

Possible? At the moment sliders color is identical to the slider background making difficult to see properly where the slider is (both on horizontal and vertical ones). Changing theme colors won't affect this

Running same library on 2 computers - Best strategy

Basically my music library sits on my desktop and my laptop. Whenever an update is made to a computer, using Synctoy plus & portable drive, I will update the other computer. Same paths & drive letters for both libraries Quite automated as for the file sync side, not automated at all as for MM settin...

Re: Multiple libraries?

You should use Collections and you can create/modify them (Gold Feature). So you can create Collections with criteria Path (same criteria as AutoPlaylists) or Extension. Thanks, thanks, thanks! https://encrypted-tbn1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQeQgeN-Nx6m8Nl8yPzDWgyshwAv_ibLEg_lWWj8aTv46a5KIEQ

Thanks for helping

Hmmmmm...... that would bring duplicates in the "Music" collection...... the alternatives would be to have separated libraries however it looks like MM won't support this

Let's see what Lowlander says :)

Re: Multiple libraries?

I can create a new collection, however the music in the new collection should be loaded from a new path. At the moment my digital library is organized in two parts E:\Music\Library\Archive (FLACs - Not loaded into MM yet) E:\Music\Library\Portable (MP3s - Currently loaded in MM) Basically I'd like t...
