Normalization?

How do the Normalization settings work? What I mean, is: If I want all the songs to be as loud as they can be without distorting, would I set the normalization higher or lower? And can you do that when burning a data CD? Okay, maybe I need to explain this: I want to burn a data disc of Jazz standard...

How Do You Clear The "Memory"?

Oftentimes, when filling in Tag Info in the Properties window, some pre-existing information will crop up underneath. Many of these are false/incorrect and I'd like to clear my MM cache of them. How can I do it? (Just to give you an example: Artist "Motörhead" may have other entries there, such as "...

Re: HUGE Font In The New MediaMonkey

Okay, don't know if this has been suggested yet:

Tools >>> Options >>> Skin >>> Font Size: px

Then adjust to your heart's content.

Just remember to restart MediaMonkey to see the changes.

HUGE Font In The New MediaMonkey

I upgraded to MM 3.1.0.1.2.5.6.

The fonts of the characters are HUGE!!!

(Well, okay: they're not THAT big, but still... )

Anyway, I wanted to know how I can fix that. The old lettering was a bit too small for my liking, but this is ridiculous! :D

Re: Discrepency Between Total Times In Explorer & Burn Windows

Total time will be the same if in Disc Burn Wizard, if you use Write Method Disc-at-once (no gaps). If you use Track-at-once it will add 2 seconds gap between each track. Thanks, Samuel. But I AM using Disc-At-Once. For some reason, it refuses to allow the proper total time. I've even shortened som...

Discrepency Between Total Times In Explorer & Burn Windows

I'm trying to burn a CDR. As you can see by the image below, the MediaMonkey explorer window shows the total time of my CD playlist to be 1:19:42. But when I go through the Burn setup process, the total time shows 1:20:04. As such, I can't burn the disc as is. I tried refreshing the view window; I'v...

Tagging From Web Causes MediaMonkey and Computer To Crash

Pretty much, what the Subject Line says:

Everytime I try to use the Tag From Web feature, MM freezes/crashes and uses up immense system resources.

Please help me resolve this matter.

Thanx!

Re: How About A Grammar/Spell Check Feature For Tagging?

I see the Moderators have "Czech-ed" my Thread Title. It was done on purpose, that way for the sake of irony!

But, alas...I suppose the Mods have to keep things literal and linear for everyone to understand.

Cheers.

Re: How About A Grammar/Spell Czech Feature For Tagging?

Hi, I agree with Lowlander and think the Firefox implementation would be good. I use it in assisting when editing the XMCD files (FreeDB) as the simple underlining makes it workable. You could generate your own dictionaries, but lack of direct Firefox support is a bit of an issue. Daz Thanks for th...

How About A Grammar/Spell Check Feature For Tagging?

Sometimes I'll download albums from various blogs or whatever, and there might be one song where either the Artist or Song Title is misspelled. More often than not, I'll catch it if it's really egregious. But sometimes I'll miss it and find out later once it's been loaded onto my mp3 player. Is ther...

Where Can I Find The Database Of A Burned CD?

i recently burned a CD, but since MediaMonkey doesn't have a Cover Design feature (which I know has been requested  ), I'm using an external program. Unfortunately, that program (AV MP3 Player Morpher -- I was free) doesn't feature a "Read CD", that I can find, so I have to do it manually. But...

Re: MediaMonkey Is Corrupting My Files

Thanks, Keith: Yeah, sorry to nip the smart-ass responses in the bud, bud! I've taken your advice about cleaning the registry, but I still get the same error message when I click on those song files. I'll try starting the whole process over again and take into account your suggestion that I c...

MediaMonkey Is Corrupting My Files

I've been noticing weird behaviour from the Monkey today (and spare me your cracks about "taming" him, or whatever, I'm not in the mood :x ). I've been trying to make a CD of Wave files for the CD Player in my car (it doesn't play mp3 CDs, nor does it have an input jack -- it's old). I had already m...

A Graphical Interface Like Zina Is Not Andromeda?

According to SourceForge.net, Zina "is a graphical interface to your MP3 collection, a personal jukebox, an MP3 streamer, a Podcaster. It can run on its own, embeded into an existing website, or as a Drupal/Joomla/Wordpress/Xoops/etc. module." I kind of like the graphical interface it uses, especial...
