I find I have to run all three clean ID tag options before I use Synchronise tags, that usually cures the difficult ones.

How I'm reading this is, In MM4 remove from Library and computer sends the deleted files to the recycle bin but in MM5 delete from Library and computer deletes them totally so if you make a mistake you cannot just go into the recycle bin and restore the files.

Is this something that will be fixed in the next release or does it have to be a per user fix, if the later could you please share the solution.

The easiest way would be to use auto organise to move the songs into folders by album, that’s assuming your tags are correct, or just make sure you have folder monitoring enabled and MM running if your moving them manually, that way MM will know where you’ve moved them to. Just checked and my DB file is in the location indicated above. I’ve just installed MM5 2167 as a fresh install and I’m still not getting the custom column headers transferred across.

I see the same behaviour, Custom column heading names don't transfer from MM4 to MM5, All The data does so its never been a big deal for me to go in and redo the names in MM5.
I'm using MM4 latest beta in normal install and MM5 latest version as portable install.

I use avidemux but there’s loads of apps that will do the same.
