I did not do a clean install because I don't want to lost my play history numbers. I'd rather do without "art & details" than reset the "Played #" numbers.

My "art & details" pane stopped working. It's just a blank grey space. Not art and no lyrics. Any ideas how to fix it? Been using MM for years and never seen this before. I'm running the latest version.

Thank you again! I've turned off both Infer File Properties and Auto-Organize. Because I had Auto-Organize enabled, I found that both the tags and therefore also the file name and location were updated. Thanks Lowlander. The files are already in the library. When I scanned the library, (I had the "Auto-Organize" option enabled), many tracks had their genre changes and I notice also that many tracks had the Title truncated, and the ratings were deleted. This is MM 4.1.11.1783. As for "...

When I scan my library, Genres are changed for many files. In most cases, the genre is changed to Rock. Any ideas why? I spent ages fixing everything only to have a scan undo it all again.
