Well, this is what I do: I randomly play remixes all day. When a song comes up that is tagged wrong, I do a search for all remixes of that song. I then update the properties (artist, rating, genre, album artist, album, artwork, etc..) by multiselecting all the files, and editing them all at once. On...

Hmmm, I always save the artwork to tag instead of file... I'll do some more testing.

When the album/track that is playing album art is updated, the Now Playing tab does not update. The currently selected track does update. This is not a big deal, just something I noticed.

Is this expected behavior? Should I just delete the file on my iphone and resync it manually? What's best practice here?

Starting with build 1489, I get a dialog everytime I synch my iphone 4S that asks if I want to delete Playlist: Podcasts from my device. I don't have a playlist called Podcasts, so not sure what this is. It comes up everytime I synch.

Any ideas?

If it's set up in an autosync list, it doesn't appear to be syncing automatically. Can you reproduce this behavior?

That was the problem. I disabled the plugin, but didn't uninstall it. Once I uninstalled it, it stopped launching ITunes. Thanks for your help!

No, it doesn't make a different if the iphone is connected or not. I just launched MediaMonkey from explorer with the iphone not connected in any way, and it launched ITunes...

I have all autolaunch from the iphone disabled and I can even close MediaMonkey and relaunch it, and it will launch Itunes. Is there something in MediaMonkey that is causing ITunes to launch? I've got the ITunes plugin disabled.

This is version 4.0.5.1488. It may be the fact that the drive is removed, not just the files. My external HD went bad, and everytime I open MediaMonkey, it gives the error.

If a playlist is already in Now Playing when the app starts (from the last launch), and the files are not present, the application launches with a window that says "Invalid pointer operation." Then another window that says "Access violation at address 00000000. Read of address 0000000...
