Auto Organize Help, move artwork folders

I need help with auto organize. How can I or can I move additional folders in the original music file location directory to the new music file directory? I have no problem with moving the non music files in the original directory, just the folders. example d:/.../group name Files in dir- 01-group na...

Re: Working with Multiple External Hard Drives

there is no way to automate it based on how much drive space is left. perhaps the best way is as you have already described by splitting it alphabetically to different drives another way, if you have a mix of different file types, for example to split flac to one drive, and mp3 to another. the simp...

Re: Working with Multiple External Hard Drives

Thanks Lowlander, I've printed and read those instructions before but never tired the statements in MM. In auto organize, configure, main directory, I came up with "$if(<album artist:1><j, f:, g:)" If Album Artist <j Then f: else g: Now any thoughts on how to organize a library in general ...

Working with Multiple External Hard Drives

I would like some input on how to organize the library using 2 or more external hard drives. Are there conditional arguments that can be used in Auto Organizing or does it all have to be done manually? For example, if you wanted to put artists of one genre a-j on one drive and k-z on another, how wo...

Auto-Organize with date (yyyy-mm-dd) format

In my "date" field on the properties menu I use the complete release date if known, ie Month/ Day/ Year. I would like to use YYYY-MM-DD in the "date" field instead of the default M/D/YYYY. Is there a way to change the format? I have set up a custom field for the release date and ...

kiwichick wrote:Hi Vyper, I haven't tried it. I was hoping I could avoid installing yet another script to do something that could maybe be done via tagging. If I don't have any choice though, I may have to look at using it. Thanks.

Trust me, that is one of the top scripts that I use! It's quick and easy.

Re: Track Number Tagging (Fixed, Thanks for the suggestions)

kiwichick, like Lowlander said that solution was only for that particular file naming scheme. There is horror and beauty of tagging from file names! I have received files from x different friends who have tagged their files x different ways. Once you learn the commands it makes tagging a piece of ca...

Re: Track Number Tagging

on the "tag from file name", for 01 - Track Name
you can use: <Track#:2> - <Skip>
This will tag the track number with the 00 format and leave your title or track name like the way it exist.

Playing a song requires a double click...

I don't know if it is something in my computer settings that has been changed (I don't remember making any changes, no hardware changes) or media monkey - here's my situation: For the longest time my Media Monkey played songs without a problem. Click on "Play" on the playback bar - I still...

Re: I need some opinions on tagging methods

This is just my way of doing things: Artist - Song (Remix, Feat, Live, Demo, Bonus, Outtake...) I leave the "feat." in the song title, not in the artist field for sorting purposes. For adding "(live)" or "(razormaid)" or "(demo)" I use the add on script: RegEx...

Flac to Wav Clipping

Is there any way to adjust the volume level for decompressing flac to wav? Situation: I have a flac file that is not clipped that plays fine with all my players (including MM). When I decompressed it with MM to wav, the wav was clipped. I tried this again with another flac file that was not clipped,...
