Re: Wrong album art on iPod
I have the album art bug, too. 120GB iPod Classic. I don't use iTunes to sync at all, although sometimes freaking iTunes will start up when the iPod is connected and begin diddling with the iPod's database, even though I've told iTunes I want to manage this iPod manually. Hrmph! I really don't want ...

Re: Batch Art Finder 2.8 [MM2+3]
I'm getting that error all the time, too. It's happening to me after a successful scan, when I go to actually update the tags themselves or as the tags are updating.

iPod Sync Interrupted
MM was just about done with a 9000+ track sync to my new 120GB iPod Classic when we had a power failure. Now I can't get it to finish the sync. MM acts like it doesn't recognize the tracks on my iPod and it wants to delete them and start the sync over. I tried rebuilding the database but that doesn'...

MM Version
I'm running MM 3.0.2.1134. I don't get a "Save" option - it's certainly trying to load it, because the entry for the station appears in the active playlist in MediaMonkey, which wouldn't happen if the link weren't being passed to MediaMonkey.

Net Radio
I got the links from the Shoutcast window inside of MediaMonkey. When I click the "Tune In" button the entry shows up in the MediaMonkey playlist, but nothing plays.

Net Radio
Just go to http://www.shoutcast.com/ and click on any of the "Tune In" icons on the left side of the page. I've been trying that, but it doesn't work. I get the station info in my playlist, but when I hit play it just hangs for a moment, I get the Pause icon briefly, then it stops. I hit ...

Re: Volume Leveling...What's Up (a second attempt)
When I ran the "Level Track Volume" routine (Tools ->v Level Track Volume) it took a couple of hours for MM3 to go through my 3000+ library. When it was through, the "Track Volume" tag has values ranging from -11.2 dB to +18.8 dB. Level Track Volume actually changes the volume o...

Squeezebox Controller
That looks nice, though at $600 for a Squeezebox and a Controller, it's not really much cheaper than a Sonos. I keep waiting for Apple to release an iPod-like remote control for either the AirPort Express or the AppleTV. Alternately, you'd think someone could hack together an iPod-like remote using ...

Gapless
Check out the website of the Remote Speakers Output Plugin. I think this subject has been discussed there. IIRC, there may be a way to daisy chain output plugins. Is there's an output plugin that lets you use multiple output plugins in sequence? If so, you could use a gapless output plugin, then fee...

Gapless not an output function
I think gapless is an input function, or at least can be achieved via the input function. I can get gapless playback on my system, and I'm not doing anything special that I'm aware of to achieve it (although most of my files are FLACs, which are gapless by nature I believe - maybe it wouldn't work s...

It Just Works
Sunspot...IT WORKS!!!! Success... Apple's Airport Express-$99 Stereo mini-RCA adapter $7 Remote Speakers software from Eric Milles. $25 Yup, that's the setup I use, except I'm using the AirPort's optical output for my digital receiver. I didn't have ANY trouble getting it setup on my Linksys networ...

Don't know for sure if this will work, but . . .
You should be able to use an AirPort Express to stream music wirelessly to your stereo. It has both analog as well as optical digital output, and with the Remote Speakers Output Plugin for Winamp (which also works with MediaMonkey) you can stream MM's output straight to the AirPort Express.

They all suck
Just get an AirPort Express and use the free Remote Speakers Output Plugin for MediaMonkey and Winamp. The AirPort is also compatible with iTunes (obviously), and if you ever replace it with some other device for music streaming you could still use it as a wireless print server or a portable wireles...
