Set the default image for album art

I had an issue with album art where individual tracks have their own art embedded into them which I asked about in this thread: - http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=59575 Unfortunately, nobody could help me with a solution, so this suggestion is based on that. Artwork shows up ...

A-Z list for browsing library

Maybe you can do this already, but I can't figure out how. I generally browse by genre, so for instance if I select hip-hop from the tree on the left I have 335 albums. It would be handy if there was an A-Z list (literally a list of the letters A-Z) on the right hand side running down to the right o...

Re: How many "lifetime license" users out there?

I used Winamp for years as I was browsing and selecting my music via folders on my PC. I switched to using Winamp's media library, but I could never get it set up quite how I wanted. I'd already tried iTunes, foobar and numerous others and was never really taken with any of them, then I saw someone ...

Re: Album art problem when tracks have separate art

Thanks for the reply! I don't think you need to keep all 41 images in each track. I have several album like that with a different image for each track. For each track, I've set Specific image as the first, and Front image as the second. It's a tedious process when you have lot of tracks, and you all...

Re: Album art problem when tracks have separate art

No, there's no way of saving this setting. By default MM always displays the first image, each time you select another track. Why can you even select a different image in the first place then, if there's no way to save the setting? It seems pointless. Would'nt it be better to tag Front cover as the...

Re: Album art problem when tracks have separate art

I'm back again. :D There doesn't seem to be any way to do what I want to do. Perhaps this could be a feature of MM4? If I right-click the cover art in the main MM window, I can select "Image 2: Cover (front)" and it displays the correct image, but then as soon as I restart the program it g...

Organising music - Question about singles

I have all of my music properly tagged and I've added all of my albums and mixes to the MediaMonkey library. It works great and I can easily browse by genre or whatever using the trees on the left, then the main window looks like this: - http://i.imgur.com/6DHZv.jpg But I haven't yet found a good wa...

Re: Album art problem when tracks have separate art

How exactly do you do it though? I tried what you said before I started this thread. I looked at the list of album art and moved the main cover art to the top. I made sure the box that says "Apply to all selected tracks" was unchecked. When I clicked OK though, MediaMonkey then tagged all ...

Album art problem when tracks have separate art

Hi, I've got a mix that's split into 41 tracks. Each track has separate artwork embedded into it. The actual cover art of the mix is in the folder along with the tracks and named as folder.jpg. When I add this mix to my library, MediaMonkey chooses the album art of track 1 as the main cover art. If ...
