OneDrive syncing for Groove
I'm interested in writing this if the USB Mass Storage plugin cannot be adapted. This plugin would work exactly as the USBMS plugin but would have a target directory of OneDrive music folder with options to sync to a local OD folder or remotely via the API if not synced. The plugin should also be ab...

Re: DLNA Experience
I don't think DLNA is meant to work outside the network. The port used is in the Media Server configuration. I'll try a 2nd network card with a local IP address and see what happens then... Shame as I have a DLNA app for my mobile and wuld like to access my entire collection on the road. Now... A M...

Re: DLNA Experience
Not sure if this is a router issue or a DLNA issue, but my 2Wire 2700 router is not letting me see my MediaMonkey DLNA server. Thing is, the box I have the server on has a public static IP address whihc is not 192.168... based. I thnk it maybe a routing issue in the server. However, if I knew what p...

Re: All new improved web interface for Mediamonkey
I've downloaded the mmip file for this plugin, but can't seem to do anything with it. Right-clicking gives me an option to "Install MediaMonkey Package" which I do but I have no confirmation that it has installed. It doesn't appear under Tools->Options->Player->General Plug-ins nor under T...

Just how do you load songs in to the TracksWindow...?
I've been searching the forums for a couple of hours now, just looking for some sample code to show how I can manually load tracks using the TracksWindow object. I will be adding each track individually and not from a query. The Wiki lists all the methods from the object but not any worked examples....

Re: Ability to read/write XML
Not completely... I've got some trial scripts that will read the filters and playlists from a VDJ installation. I'm now working on loading a VDJ playlist in to the main window. I've found a script on here that I am in the process of modifying. Still not sure how to get the VDJ music data integrated ...

Open a m3u playlist from Script
I have a folder of .m3u playlists which are created by software that I use. I have written an auto-script to add this folder to the tree as a node and then a then added a node for each playlist. I would now like to load the contents of that playlist in to the browser when I click on it in the tree I...

Re: Ability to read/write XML
Steve, Thanks for the reply. There was quite a big discussion recenrly over at http://www.virtualdj.com on how Atomix coudl improve the browser side of things, however it was pointed out that VDJ doesn't need to do all this - and in fact its not the best interface to do so. Then I discivered MM thro...

Re: Sync - Like For Like
My naming convention and folder structure varies. For example Compilations are stored by album title, then release if part of a series (01, 02, 03, etc) and then named by track, title & artist. I then have folders for artists, groups & singles which are stored in subfolders of artist\album a...

Re: Sync - Like For Like
Oh indeed there is... There was also another reason, but wanted to tease this one out first. I use the HDD not only as a backup but alkso to DJ from. If I could get the the drive to sync with MediaMonkey this this is the first towards my bigger game plan which is to use MM scripts to update and mana...

Sync - Like For Like
I'd like to sync my USB HDD via MediaMonkey but have found out that you have to rename the files on sync.
Is there any way I can sync simply by copying the files: same location, same filename etc.
I use the HDD as a backup of my collection and want it stored as is...
Cheers,
Roy

Ability to read/write XML
Hi all, I've just started to use MediaMonkey and must say I am impressed. I'm also a PC DJ and have now standardised on MM for tagging and maintaining my collection. I use Virtual DJ for my live shows and this keeps a track of its database in a fairly flat XML file. One of the issues I have is that ...
