Re: Auto-update for MM3

Hence why the choice to do a direct download/install (without having to go to an external source) would be ideal. I haven't updated precisely because I don't use iAnything.

Re: Auto-update for MM3

Though I don't mind downloading the new update, I agree there's some redundancy if one is also subscribed to the update thread (like me). I'd like the choice to download and/or install directly through MM. I do use other programs which implement the same update method (download from site then instal...

Re: playing while in online game

I am a gamer and play exclusively with MM running. I have a pretty high-end system though; it's important to me that I be able to run MM and games (as well as FF, Xfire, Pidgin and more) without any slow downs. Whether or not you can play games with MM running will depend on your systems specs but I...

Re: Last.fm Scrobbling

If you want to use the last.fm client also, this is the solution that worked best for me:

Re: Date tag.

The date column in MM is controlled by your computer's Regional Date and Time settings. I had to manually go into Vista's Regional and Language Options > Formats tab > Customize > Date tab and set the short date format to one that would display acceptably for me in MM. I use dd-MM-yyyy .

Re: Auto Album DJ 3.4 [MM2+3]

I was getting a similar error like that on track change (possibly due to a crash or stray process). I went in the options and cleared the queued albums and it cleared it up. Speak of the devil: I just got this error on track change. I haven't done anything to reset the album queues. This is a fresh ...

Re: Add file type as a node ?

For a definitive answer, you'd have to ask someone who uses both. Magic Nodes always seemed over my head while My Custom Nodes is quite easy to set up and maintain. It has built in EasyCriteria which makes building nodes a lot easier, IMO, than trying to make sense of Magic Nodes rules.

Re: single songs shared by multiple albums

What do you all think is the best way to handle individual songs that occur across more than one album? For example, I have a lot of Mannheim Steamroller's work, and one of their albums may reuse three tracks from each of three different albums. Do you think the best approach is to assign tags acco...
