I don't think you have much of a chance of recovery. I hate to sound like an ass but.. Let this be a lesson. BACKUPS are a must when doing things. I made backups of all 3 collections when i let MM auto-organize everything. incase i screwed up somewhere. everything went well so i ditched teh backups....

I was about to do an autoplaylist.. then i noticed one thing.. i'd have to create one for every single genre in my library. Not a good final solution. the function shoud be added to autoDJ and i hope it gets done in the next few versions since 2.6 is so close to release.

Yep MM can do this. I had it organize 3 seperate collections i had into one Superset. it did a damn nice job to! saved me literaly 40 hours of work. try hand filtering 6700 some songs by artist then album.. MM did it in about 2 hours since it had to move the files from 2 drives to a 3rd. Very cool f...

Depends.. does the ipod feel attracted to you? then your passes may work ;)

if you mean sync the music to it then right click on the pod and Autosync in the MM interface.

Using the nonskinned version MM is eating 41320K of mem at idle, topped out around 43777K while playing.

Firefox on the other hand is eating 168 megs on its own! 2 tabs. hungry little proggie.

Damn annoying sound...

I dispise that annoying sound that plays on track change when MM is backgrounded. How do i kill it? I know very well the track has changed.

I think this already exists. in MM right click on the IPOD in the tree window and pick Rebuild Device Database (or similer verbage)
