Windows explorer context menu : "Play with Media Monkey"

Post by Granpoh »

On my Vista computer, in Windows Explorer, when I select multiple tracks to play and then right click, I have the "Play in Media Monkey", "Play next in Media Monkey", etc. options. However, when I only select one track to either open up with Media Monkey or add to an existing Media Monkey now playing list, I don't have any Media Monkey options in the Windows explorer context menu. On my XP computer, I don't have this problem. What do I do?

Thanks for all help

Do you have MediaMonkey associated with the file type(s) under Tools > Options > File Types?

Which version of MediaMonkey (Help > About) are you using? Does reinstalling MediaMonkey solve the issue (select file types association during installation)?

I was having the problems with Media Monkey 3 before recently updating to the latest version of Media Monkey 3.1.0.1256. However, the problem remains.

Now, even when I select multiple tracks, I don't have the Media Monkey context menu options, "Play, Play Next, Play Last". Does anyone have an answer for this or a registry fix; it's driving me crazy! I do, however, have all options available when selecting a folder; just not a file or files, which is what really matters.
