Rip with Album Art

Rip with Album Art
I downloaded the free version of MediaMonkey to check it out. I ripped a couple CDs, but Album Art was not automatically added to the library. I ended up using the "Auto-Tag from Web" tool to get Album Art.
Is there a way to setup MediaMonkey to automatically add Album Art when ripping?
Thanks!

No, art can't be retrieved from freedb, you have to use auto-tag from web.Rasmon wrote:I downloaded the free version of MediaMonkey to check it out. I ripped a couple CDs, but Album Art was not automatically added to the library. I ended up using the "Auto-Tag from Web" tool to get Album Art.

I have to admit, I love MM, but this is my number one beef. I still use it, but I swear at it every time I rip a CD.
TIA

I don't really get that. It only takes a few seconds to get the art with auto tag from web.MPG wrote:I have to admit, I love MM, but this is my number one beef. I still use it, but I swear at it every time I rip a CD.

Re: Rip with Album Art
It is not automatic, lots things can be forgotten while you drink beer and wait to RIP finishes I understand user point but jet this is not yet available.
Some Art Scripts can solve this issue when you take break from beer and want to look at tracks you have just ripped

Re: Rip with Album Art
It's the fact that the application has the capability to do both, but you have to do it manually. I got so used to MusicMatch, that by the time I had to switch, I just thought it was automatic in all software. I truly hope that they incorporate both the ripping and art lookup into one process in the next version of MM.

I had to double check that I hadn't written that last night.Peke wrote:It is not automatic, lots things can be forgotten while you drink beer and wait to RIP finishes I understand user point but jet this is not yet available.

Nothing like a few beers while ripping. But it can get a little confusing as the night goes on.
Re: Rip with Album Art
Thought I'd raise this one again. This is the one and only thing that frustrates me with MM. Trixmoto indicated that no event was triggered after a burn so his Art lookup had no way to start.
Any chance this is possible in MM 4.x?
Thanks,

Re: Rip with Album Art
The dev team has been wanting to "fix" this for a long time, but I don't think they've found a solution they like yet. It's currently listed as urgent priority for version 4.1.MPG wrote:Thought I'd raise this one again. This is the one and only thing that frustrates me with MM. Re: Rip with Album Art
I've just ripped some CDs in MMW (used EAC previously) and was surprised that album art still has to be added separately.
Will this be fixed in MMW 5?
Would be nice if the quality of auto-lookup could be improved as well.

Re: Rip with Album Art
In Latest MMW versions you have option to Auto Lookup for both Lyrics and Album Art.
Also yes, MM5 will further expand that feature.
