Currently, I have my music collection assorted alphabetically by Artist Name (under most exceptions).
I'd like to Auto-Organize by Genre >> Artist Name.
What's the easiest way of doing this?

In the Auto-Organize window, how would I configure the path?
Taking a clue from what you're saying, since I have all my music folders in my external HD under drive K:, would I organizing as thus?:
K:\My Music\<Genre>\<Artist> - <Title>

Re: Question About Auto-Organizing Collections...
it depends on if you want them on the same drive.
remember anything between the slash marks is going to be a folder by that word or tag.
the last word or tag will be the file name. in your case the last two tags will be the file name.
i use it like this
C:\My music\<artist>\<album>\<genere>\<title>
i change the drive letter to the other drives if i need to but the path stays the same just on different drives.

Yes, that would work. Still not exactly sure what you're going after, though.Son of Spam wrote:No, what I mean is:nohitter151 wrote:.\<Genre>\<Artist> ??
