Weird Background Processes On MediaMonkey...

I've noticed something strange lately:

I've got some sort of background process taking place whenever MM is loaded up. Every 3 seconds or so, the Now Playing slider moves from beginning to end even though there is no music playing.

I then get a popup window in my System Tray which should indicate what track is playing. But seeing as no music is actually playing -- yet the Now Playing slider keeps moving -- this window keeps popping up.

It seems to be taking up my computers system resources, as well.

Any suggestions?

Are the songs graying out in the Now Playing window/node? Did you start playback of songs?

sounds like it could be trying to load a song from your now playing list that was left when you closed monkey the last time.
but it can't find that song in ram, so it goes to the next one. but thats the same idea lowlander is talking about with grayed out songs. only they might be grayed out on the now playing list. :o
