I have 4.0.5.1496 with Gold License on Vista
Burn Audio CD using a Playlist
Level Volume per Track at 95db Selected
Write CD Text Selected
Burn Speed 10X (even though 24X is supported)...also tried at 16X and 20X
Disk At Once
On the Fly Audio Burning (Not Checked)
Cache files from Network (Checked)
Results = songs with random static when played on normal CD players
If I use WMP 11.0.6002.18311
Fast Burn Speed
Apply Volume Leveling Across Tracks on the CD (Checked)
Results = songs play perfectly with no static
Any ideas on why they are burning with issues on MM?

Re: Burn Quality Inferior to WMP
What volume level in WMP? Going with 95dB in MM may be the source of your static.

Re: Burn Quality Inferior to WMP
WMP doesn't have a configuration for the volume leveling (just enable or not), so whatever the default is for that program.
You are correct - by changing it to volume level for the whole album instead of by track, the static disappeared. Not sure why, but will avoid that setting in the future.
Thanks!

89dB is the default for MediaMonkey, I don't know about WMP.
