Splitting large mp3 into separate tracks when burning to CD

Post by dkwdkw »

Is there any option (or does anyone have any ideas) in MM that will automatically split a large mp3 (55 minutes long) into separate tracks when it is burned to CD? Here's my problem. I have a single mp3 that is very large. When I burn it to CD, it becomes a single track. On my CD player, I don't have a fast forward or reverse control. I only have skip to next track or back to last track. I would like to be able to burn the mp3 in five minute chunks (or similar) so that I could skip stuff I've already heard, or replay stuff I want to hear again.

Appreciate any ideas...

Thanks!

MM does not split tracks. You'll need a separate tool to do that.

Something like this would work:
