W8 Can't see directories

Hi,
I have MM 4.1.3 running on Windows 8.1. I have a share that is hosted on an iMac (OS X 10.9.3) which contains my music library.

I'm able to see the folders on the iMac via windows explorer. I am also able to play .mp3s on my share using MS media player.

I'm able to the mapped drive in MM and the first level directory. No other directories appear. When I attempt a scan no .mp3s are found.

I've tried adding a UNC path without success.

I've disabled the firewall and right clicked one of the .mp3s in windows explorer and selected open with > media monkey. MM then hangs and nothing plays.

I've used debug and have a log. I can't see where I can attach a the log. I don't mind email it.

Can someone point me in the right direction and let me know why MM refuses to see second level directories (which contain .mp3s).
