Passing meta data to webcast?

I don't even know how to ask this question intelligently, but I'll try.

I do a music-oriented video webcast. I use MMW 4 as my music player. I see other people who do similar casts automatically display the artist, album, and song title in the video window as the track is playing. I know at least some of these casters are using iTunes or Winamp, and they aren't screencapping the information. Does anyone know if this can be done with MMW as the media player, and if so, how?
