I tend to edit the metadata (properties) of files in large batches.
Normally (that is, on Windows 7), you can click Alt+arrow to move between the various files, and your cursor would remain in the same field. So I could change the data, Alt+arrow, change the data, Alt+arrow, etc. It was very quick!
But now, after I installed a fresh Windows 8 os and reinstalled Media Monkey, that behavior is gone. I can Alt+arrow to get to the next file's properties, but my cursor is no longer in the same field, and I have to take my hands off the keyboard to move the mouse and click.
It's little, I know, but incredibly annoying.
Any ideas why this happened? And how to get the old behavior back?

You might try the newest beta but don't guarantee that it will solve the problem. Windows 8 is a very different beast and my guess is, having talked to other low level window developers, the MMW crew are having to rethink/do many things to make windows 8 as accessible was Win7-

I'll try the new beta version, then.
I just lost all the metadata to my 23000+ files, and I have to enter it all again by hand... and having to click the field each time I Alt-Arrow to the next file is exhausting and time-consuming!
