Damn annoying sound...

I dispise that annoying sound that plays on track change when MM is backgrounded. How do i kill it? I know very well the track has changed.

Yes, that's an annoying thing isn't it.

Please look at the faq ( http://faq.mediamonkey.com/index.php?ac ... artlang=en ) where it is explained how to disable it.
If you want more info, doing a forum search will probably give you enough.

While the option was set it never popped anything up down there, Nor did anything else that was there ever make noise.

That might be a specific problem with your computer. Maybe these popups have been partially disabled in Windows? For me and all people I have "heared", it works completely (popup + sound).

So by disabling that feature the popping sound is gone correctly?

turned it off but haven't bothered to test it yet. i will later. to early.

check your windows sound events and see if the popup sound has be reset.

for some reason my winxp sound event was adjusted doing one of the last ms updates?
