Renaming songs

Media Monkey seems to have renamed all my songs ie Queen - White Queen is now AAXT
How can I rename them so I know what they are.

MediaMonkey won't rename files by itself (unless you enabled Tools > Options > Auto-Organize). Is the problem with a tag or the Filename? Is an Apple device (iPod/iPhone/iPad) involved in any way?

Looks to me like the tagging information was incorrect on the album and you had auto-organise toggled on.

Yes it was a collection of hundreds of songs from iTunes on my computer.
I don't have Media Monkey Gold so can't auto organise.

MediaMonkey doesn't name songs like that. However this is the file naming convention used for Apple devices like iPhone and iPod.

Hi,
You should be able add those tracks to Library and do an Auto Organize manually.
