MM fonts on 4k displays with W10

On 4k displays the display setting W10 recommends is 3840/2160 300%. This works with all Windows applications (fonts are smooth) but with MediaMonkey the fonts look quite ugly, the characters are built up from 'pixels' that are actually blocks of 3x3 pixels. This defeats the point of a high resolution display. Is there a way around that?
