Hi
I'm on Windows 10 Pro 64 bit on a Surface 3. I have about 18,000 songs on my My MM is version 4.1.24.1883PC.
Whenever I open MM, it crashes. If I try to import an album, it crashes. I let it monitor my C drive - it doesn't finish, it crashes. I change the settings to not monitor my C drive, but as it crashes, the change of settings don't work.
I'm at a loss what it do as it is my tool to keep my tunes in place.
Please help!

Re: MM keeps crashing
Hi,
Can you try to install latest beta Debug version from http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... 54426&sd=d as a portable?
Also it would be interesting to install MM5 Beta portable from https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewt ... 86639&sd=d
Let us know if they crashes also.

Pavle
So I have installed MediaMonkey_4.1.25.1885_Debug.
It encountered an error so I've sent it off as I can't attach it here.
I have also installed MediaMonkey_5.0.0.2183_Debug as a fresh install. It didn't take long for my media to be found and updated. It didn't crash.
So I'll be using MM5. I need to check that my ipod

Re: MM keeps crashing
Hi,
If you stumble on Crash Again in MM4 you have more info/details link in dialog and there you can copy to Clipboard on crash.
After that you can use CODE (</>) in reply here or open support Ticket and attached txt file with error content.

I can't copy the error code as the max characters is 60,000 and it has 114,303 characters!
I'll open a ticket.
As an aside, MM5 doesn't recognise my ipod (6th generation 128GB). Any ideas how to get it recognised?
Thanks.
Ali

Re: MM keeps crashing
Thank you Pavle for taking the time to get onto my PC and sort out MM4 for me. It now seems to be working fine and no longer crashing.
~and sorting out MM5 / ipod issue.
Really pleased you were still awake half way through the night.

Hi,
UI positions and configuration somehow got corrupted and http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/inde ... o-defaults was needed.
Once MM4 started to work and not left background processes on crash MM5 also started to recognize iPod.
Happy Monkeying!
