Using the auto-organize tool, sometimes the mp3 tags lead to attempted generation of a folder path that would be too long for the filesystem.
I understand I need to edit my tags and try again.
Is there
1) Some way to reduce the number of repetitive error messages due to long paths?
2) Some syntax to automate truncating of the tags so the generated path is not too long?
thanks

Re: avoiding too-long paths
Hi,
If you in Auto-Organize Tool on Destination mask press F1 you will get to help page that explains how to use it.
Under that you can read all bout File masks and options you use https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index. ... ormats/4.0
It would also help to give you more detail answer if you post an screenshot (See how to in my signature) of problematic tracks?

$Left(<Field>,x) would limit the field by x. You can use this on any field like Artist, Album Artist, Album and Title that may have long values.
