Help,
I've been able at some point (blindy moving things about) to modify Metro and another skin to show what looks like a two column view, where the right-hand column contains a stack that shows the column browser, the information pane, the now playing all above the Media Monkey player. I have no idea how I did that, nor can I recreate it. Is there someplace where all the settings are stored that I can copy and send to a friend to use as his copy. The link is a snipping tool jpeg of what it looks like with the Metro M skin. I would also like to backup the settings. I don't expect any guidance on HOW to create the view (not that it wouldn't be appreciated), rather just how to protect it and share it.

Hi,
No Layout save option, but I can easily explain how to replicate what you archived.
1. Right click on each section of MMW and enable Show Title bar
2. Drag and Drop Sections (SLOWLY) to place where you want it until it snaps in
3. When you archive desired look right click and disable Title bars.

Peke,
Thanks for the rapid reply, but try as I might I can't get rid of the right-hand column, nor can I insert the "now playing"' section above the player and below the file list. I know the settings have to be save somewhere, or they would disappear when I restart the program. I can't consistently get the right hand click to get the "Show Title Bar" to appear.

Re: (Re)creating a skin and sharing it
As a practical matter, my problem is solved. I just went back through the list of skins on the website and found Magneto. It is organized exactly as I want and the colors are fine. I've switched to using it and will have my friends install it also. I'll continue to play with the original MetroM on a VM. I did find that I have to use a program like Revo uninstall to fully remove MM. Reinstalling the program with the built-in installer leaves behind enough information that most customizations are retained.
