Export Auto Playlist then Import After Deleting old DB

Post by rithym » Mon Jul 08, 2019 8:05 am

This particular question is bugging me and I can't seem to find a simple answer. My DB has become corrupted so when trying to sync mp3 music files to my iPod's they do not sync properly when I change the Auto Playlist properties even though MM4 reflects the change(s) correctly. I am having to restore the iPod and load the Auto Playlist fresh each time there is a change which for 600GB of mp3 files is a bind.
I thought the easiest way was to clear the DB or make a fresh install of MM4 and re-scan all the files to the DB but I can't seem to find a way to save the Auto Playlists I have created which have evolved in to very complicated properties over the past 5 years or so - I don't want to lose them just save/ export and import to the new database.
Any help much appreciated...

TIA
Will the last person please get the light!

Capture sync in a debug log (step 4b) instead: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewt ... p?f=1&t=69 (users are seeming to have trouble with iPod syncs).

You can also use File > Maintain Library with complete optimization checked.
