Songs DB hand a system

For some reason Songs DB prevents a system shutdown if it's running. I assume it starts some service that is configured so it can't be stopped by a shutdown, or maybe there's another reason. Does Media Monkey resolve this?

I didn't even know Songs DB could still run. Talk about a flashback to ~oh 1999 or so ...
