MonkeyLite does not work with AIMP 4.60

Post by nounours18200 »

Hi,
I have AIMP v4.60 on my PC, and I have installed MonkeyLite on my Android Smartphone (Samsung S8).

When I start MonkeyLite on my Smartphone, it cannot connect to AIMP on my PC: "connection failed".

The server name is "MICHEL-PC" (the name of my PC) and 192.168.1.25:19371.

Do you have any idea ?

Is MonkeyLite compatible with AIMP4.60, or do I have to use an older version (4.1.1.x).

Thank you for your reply,
Lowlander

What's MonkeyLite? The Play store doesn't show it here. MediaMonkey has https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... ediamonkey

What's MonkeyLite?
MonkeyLite is what I have been told to install on my Smartphone in order to remote control AIMP installed on my PC (with the MonkyRemote plugin added to AIMP) .

The purpose is to remote control AIMP on my PC, not to use MediaMonkey on my PC.

Do you believe that MediaMonkey (the one that you provided me with the link) is able to remote control AIMP ???

The purpose is to remote control AIMP on my PC, not to remote control MediaMonkey on my PC.

By reading the link you provided me with, it seems that this Android application is designed to remote control MediaMonkey on a PC, not to remote control AIMP.

But maybe I am wrong: do you believe that this Android application is able to remote control AIMP ???

Still don't know what App you're referring to, but MediaMonkey for Android can't control AIMP or any DLNA client.
