Adding music tracks from a folder on my desktop

Hello
I want to add tracks from a desktop folder
Why can't I just drag and drop the folder or tracks into a new empty playlist I have made?

Hi,
MM keeps Playlists in DB so you need to first either put them to Now Playing and then Drag and drop to playlist or scan Desktop folder in library (recommended) and then use drag and drop or use MM My Computer tree node to navigate to folder you want to put in playlist and then drag and drop.

Please note that if Files gets unavailable and tracks are not in library MM will automatically remove them from playlist.
