Sansa e250 Album Art Problem

I have a Sansa e250 and when I synchronize the correct files get created, however the album art doesnt get copied. I have noticed that when it syncs it creates: artist name - album name-song, but the album art.JPG does not get copied to the alum folder together with the song. thanks

Hi I've just got a sansa and I'm trying to get the sync the album art properly.

I only use MSC(UMS) mode as i've not got XP.

album Art syncing might work differently in MTP mode.

I've notice that
Tagged art > 32kb does not display. < 32kb works fine.
Linked art does not sync.
Copying to the folder as 'album art.jpg' works fine even if > 32kb.
MM Syncing with autoconvert loses the album art

I'm look for ways in MM to
Ensure my tagged art is < 32kb (hopefully via a script)
or
Export/copy art as Album Art.jpg during sync and remove from tag.
(Not sure if scripts can be done as part of a sync or if it needs a new portable device plugin)

This is possible, check out scripting forum or ask someone to write it.

Yes, it's definitely covered here in other topics, generally speaking is isn't a bug because iPods and MTP devices don't need it, however we'll try to support this feature somehow.

So if you use MTP and auto sync with conversion the album art is retained or is it tranferred seperately?

It's transferred separatelly using the protocol and it's up to the device to store it somewhere and display it to user.
