iTunes 9.2 - MM compatibility (Status: requires 3.2.1+ )

Re: iTunes 9.2 - MM compatibility (Status: not compatible!)
ok.... SOOOO... Itunes 9.2 is mandatory for upgrading the iPhone OS from 3.xx to 4.0 so... downgrading the iTunes AFTER the OS upgrade doesn't make sense, plus most likely the downgrade will break certain functions of the OS4.0 (anyone else upgrade their Iphone yet, and try downgrading for MM functionality???
So.. I think a choice is going to have to be made here...
MM or Iphone 4.0 ... until something is done.
Which will it be??

If you want to use the new iTunes 9.2 and don't mind MediaMonkey not being able to sync to iPod/iPhone you can rename d_iphone.dll and d_ipod.dll in the Program Files/MediaMonkey/Plugins to d_iphone.dll.off and d_ipod.dll.off (or delete them).

Well os4 has already been jailbroken so shouldnt MM be able to come up with a fix for 9.2 and os4 quickly?
Re: iTunes 9.2 - MM compatibility (Status: not compatible!)
Never mind, I got MediaMonkey not to crash when connecting an ipod touch 2G by removing d_iPhone.dll from the plugins folder.

Glad this happened before my investment. It's a great little program, but if it's not going to work with my device it really doesn't do me much good.njkode wrote:Well os4 has already been jailbroken so shouldnt MM be able to come up with a fix for 9.2 and os4 quickly?

Sorry frankz - but that is a pretty stupid comment.

That's harsh. Why is that stupid? If I were to purchase a product to sync my device and then it didn't, what good would it be doing me for my purposes?christian.ry wrote:frankz wrote:Glad this happened before my investment. Hello,
Same problem here. At the moment, MediaMonkey is useless to me since I use an iPod Touch/iPhone.
I can't find a previous version of iTunes to revert back to something that works.

Can we get an update on when you think there might be a fix available? A lot of people are going to be receiving iphone 4's in the next few days - "staying at 9.1" isn't really going to be an option.

It's up to the devs when the build is released. It looks that the issue is already fixed:ClayM wrote:Can we get an update on when you think there might be a fix available? Re: iTunes 9.2 - MM compatibility (Status: not compatible!)
Fixed in build 1308 and merged to 1296.
So where do we get build 1308?

Looking very forward to that build.
