Possible to Alow Sync Down Only?

I maintain a library of music for my family. Each person has one or more playlists. But I also have some auto-playlists where I use star ratings to control what goes in them.

Is it possible to allow my kids to sync a playlist to their devices, but prevent them from syncing changed star ratings or tags back up to the server?

Right now it is working to tell them not to. But a year or two out, someone is bound to forget and think it is a good idea to change something.

This is set in the Device Profile.

I'd make sure to have backups of the database as that would you to revert in case things ever go wrong.
