[SOLVED] Having trouble syncing just a playlist

I'd like to sync just a playlist. However, it seems to want to sync all my Music. Here's the setup.

Windows 10 > MMW 4.1.25.1895 standard
Android phone - LG G5 Android 8.0.0 MMA 1.3.6.0887

In MMW I set up sharing in Tools -> Options -> Media Sharing -> Shared Content, where I unchecked everything except the playlist I want to sync to my phone. I added some tracks to the selected playlist

In MMA, under Options -> Synch Settings -> [memory card] -> Auto-sync server content, I drilled down to the list of playlists and selected the one I wanted to sync to my device

I hit sync now, and it analyzes, then starts downloading all the music in my library. My library has over 8000 tracks, and a lot of them are long and uncompressed. That's not going to work .

What am I missing in this process?

That's not the right place. You need to select what is synced under Tools > Options > Portable Device Sync by configuring the Device Profile: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/index. ... oid_device
