Duh. I have been looking at the wrong documentation.
The Python example mirrored the full url but I will test it both ways.

I've been using the Lyricator app for a long time and recently I re-installed my OP system along with everything.
Now when I try to run Lyricator for a song I get..
"<A href="http://www.lyricsvip.com/" target=_blank>http://www.lyricsvip.com</A>" for all songs.
I tried to do it with songs it has successfully tagged in the past...I get the same results.

Help.

I hope this gets fixed soon because Lyricator is my favorite plugin. Really great work by the developer! Performance and search results are just perfect.

This can happen if you have a chinese character etc, in artist or title.Don't know if this is your problem but worth checking out to see if you have anything like that.

No I do not have any Chinese characters, but it has been failing on everything including those tracks with English only characters.

I had this problem too, but after installing Lyricator 1.1.0.021 now I just get "http://www.lyricsvip.com" in the lyrics box for every song.

Lyricator is broken, probably at the server side, all that comes up is a link for lyric VIP

Not necessarily, it would just need a different source for the lyrics.

This the exact same problem I had in the same sequence. I had no problem until I upgraded. Note I've used the previous version without any issue for six months. My question, is the original down load available from any source, that would insure we do not loose the script completely while a solution is found? I have no doubt these guys will find a solution so I'm not raving. Lyricator has been a treasure along with the guys who spend there time providing the scripts Thanks in advance guys I really appreciate your efforts.

For me, the endless spinning problem just appeared one day on the old version i was using - it wasn't caused by upgrading, which came later. Maybe it's just a coincidence?
