ScrobblerDJ v1.26, Let your music free!!!
Re: ScrobblerDJ v1.26, Let your music free!!!
This is getting a bit confusing.
I have:
Last.fm Auto-DJ
Last.fm Scrobbler
Last.FM Node
So what does this offer me that the other don't?

This one was the original. The Auto-DJ version provides the same functionality but is built into the Auto-DJ so that it is more configurable. The Node script is different and provides different functionality, but I've not used it so I'm not sure exactly what it does.

Re: ScrobblerDJ v1.26, Let your music free!!!
back to removing ScrobblerDj:
I removed mention of ScrobblerDJ from Scripts.ini
here's what's in there now

But it still runs ScrobblerDJ as well as AutoDJ Last Fm. DJ.... If I remove ScrobblerDJ.vbs from the scripts folder, I get an error whenever it was supposed to work (however AutoDJ with Last.FM DJ still works). I put the ScrobblerDJ.vbs back and they both run again - picking a song each at the end of playlists.[Statistics]

What about the "Scripts\Auto" folder, is there any scrobbler files in there?

Re: ScrobblerDJ v1.26, Let your music free!!!
there's (in addition to some Autorate stuff)
LastFM_DJ.vbs and LastFMOptions.vbs
which I assume are for the Auto DJ/Lastfm DJ

Yes, I think they are. Not sure what's causing ScrobblerDJ to appear then.

My guess is you're using this script which is only MM2 compatible on your MM3 installation!

Re: ScrobblerDJ v1.26, Let your music free!!!
Started to have some troubles now, after having had the script running for weeks without a catch.
The issue has been discussed here before, the Error #13, Type mismatch "CInt", Line: 298, Column: 16.
I tried all the fixes posted earlier in the thread, except none of them worked for me. I'm out of ideas, anyone got a suggestion?

Nevermind, suddenly started working again.
Realized now how dependent I am truly am upon this script. Have been completely helpless the last weeks. Fantastic to have it running again

Re: ScrobblerDJ v1.26, Let your music free!!!
Dressen, thank you so much for updating this to v3. I've been ripping my hair out for weeks trying to get Sdj working... Although, being apparently clueless, I'd probably have found your update sooner if there was a specific forum which suggested a MM3 ScrobblerDJ in the title *GRIN*.
Anyway, many thanks.

Re: ScrobblerDJ v1.26, Let your music free!!!
I've installed ScrobblerDJ. I entered my user name and password in the settings.
Now how I use ScrobblerDJ? I dont see any button for it?
I'm using MM 3.1 latest beta build btw.

Re: ScrobblerDJ v1.26, Let your music free!!!
Hi, I think you might be confused.
This script, queues music in your library based on last.fm similarities. It does not upload any play data to your last.fm user. Also, I am not sure it even works with the latest 3.1, it was originally designed for mm 2.5 and as far as I can tell has been abandoned and no longer under development.
The scrobbler plugin, which seems to be what your referring to, uploads the names of tracks you play to your last.fm user. I don't believe there is any button for it, simply enable it in the mediamonkey options with your last.fm user/password.
There is also a scrobbler auto-dj, which functions similarly to this script but uses the auto-dj functionality of MM. This scrobbler auto-dj will queue similar tracks based on last.fm.
I have also written a last.fm node script which includes a last.fm dj mode, which queue's similar tracks.
So in summary there is:
- scrobbler plugin --- uploads user played tracks to last.fm user account
- scrobbler dj script, this one (for mm 2.5) --- plays similar music
- scrobbler auto-dj script --- plays similar music
- last.fm nodes script --- plays similar music and lets you have nodes for your favorite artists, tags, etc based on last.fm
a few others that I can't remember off the top of my head that also do stuff based on last.fm

Re: ScrobblerDJ v1.26, Let your music free!!!
yes I know what you're trying to say
My library consists of about 60 GB of music. I want to use ScrobblerDJ to play me music from my library by looking up last.fm.
How do I do that?
I remember previously there was a button, but now I cant find one. I've gone through all settings but no help.
