I've found the change of genre is not transmitted to Windows. The playback counter is updated, and then the values but with MMA are replaced by the MMW.
Translated with Google

I changed the genre in MMA and then synchronized. The amendment was not adopted by MMW. It was just the file of MMW reloaded down

Are you doing an USB or wifi sync? Do you have the option to Auto-sync file metadata from device to the PC enabled in the Device Profile (Tools > Options > Portable Device Sync)?

Yes, the option is on. Have tried to disable and re-enable it again, no success. Sync only with WiFi

Hi,
I do apologize.
No further logs are needed as I've tested it myself now and indeed it isn't working,
I entered the issue
http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=13548 and assigned it to the MMA colleague to fix it.
Thanks for reporting!

Hi, I could have wagered the 'genre' and 'artist' were syncronized earlier. No matter. Is the future planned to sync these fields? I find these are with the most important fields that should be syncronized. Can a developer give an information?

Information is in the linked Bug entry.
However, I too thought Genre was being synced back to MMW.

That means it hasn't been changed. Any work on this issue will be documented there.

But I do not find any statement whether it is changed or whether it remains as it is. And when it is changed in which version it will appear.

Exactly, that means nothing has been done with this. If something will be done with it, it will be documented there. As it's not a bug (I thought it was too) it becomes a feature request and those can take a while.
(REQ) More settings transferable from MMA to MMW

Hello, since I take MMA not only to play my music but also to edit my collection, I would have there still suggestions for features.
In very important I find the artist and song when they are changed in MMA also to be transferred to MMW. It should be all settings I see in MMA synonymous in MMW be transferred. Since a great advantage of the MMW are the automatic playlists, the classifications in MMA should also be possible in the future and be transferred to MMW.
greetings
Miron

Tags you change in MMA can already be transferred back to MMW on sync. Just enable this in the Device Profile (Tools > Options > Portable Device Sync in MMW).

I wanted to stimulate the more fields synced, as already described here are the as I find important fields which should be installed in future versions.
