Album Artists sorting uses "Artists"

MMA both the latest pro version and the latest beta version. Samsung Galaxy S9 updated.
Under the home screen personalize. When selecting the "album artists" button, many of the albums are being listed using the "artist" tag instead of album artist tag. Example, one of my album artists has 14 albums, everything is tagged proper with only the single artist name in each album artist field, on every single track. But 7 albums show up under album artist, while the others are using the artist field from the 1st track in each album. The albums have many featured artists, so it looks messy. It wasn't like this in older versions, not sure which one it was.
