I downloaded todays update and it is still doing the same thing...

Not for me.

I uninstalled the program and re-installed it.

It still stops after the screen times out and the last song is finished.

I am using a surface RT with all my music on an SD card (5300 songs).

Help!

That's pretty strange as it work just fine here .

another update showed up this morning, but it still stops when the screen times out and the song is over. when I wake up the tablet the next song starts.

any ideas?

Finally, I found others with this problem. After updating, music still stops at the end if currently playing song when timeout.

I think it simply pauses playback, because changing the volume resumes playback without turning the screen back on. Is this the same for others having this problem?

Sorry that was my post. Thought I found a temporary solution, when I removed my screen lock PIN...it seem to solve it, but problem remains so now I doubt myself.

Try changing the settings in the app. Go to General and turn off the 'show status on lock screen' option. This fixed it for me. Hope this helps.

Never mind. Worked for a while, back to not working.

I am getting mixed results. From a fresh boot, I start MM, pick an album and play. Plays through all tracks of the album - even after my Dell Latitude 10 goes to sleep. I got the same results on Friday after the upgrade. However I then decided to 'shuffle' songs...it was then that tracks quit playing when timing out. After restarting many times, I finally got to a fresh stage again and all is well for now.
I'll update after some more time, as I have just tried to replicate these steps again. All tracks are playing and I have just 'shuffled' again...so we will see.

Hmmm...shuffle works, no timing out. Intermittent issue?

At least I am enjoying MM tonight!

I disabled the lockscreen option and it played 4 songs before stopping.

I play my music library shuffled, could this have something to do with it?

Update to my previous post - could it be network related?

No matter what options or how many times I reboot, without being connected to a network, it always stops after a couple of songs.

Soon we will post another build to store with some updates in this area, so let us know, please.
