Tracks don't advance when windows 8 tablet is asleep.

Hi. I love MM, but I recently noticed that when I put my Asus Vivotab to sleep it won't advance to the next song until I wake it up. Any help would be appreciated.

When I change the apps settings to not show the status on the lock screen playback becomes continuous even when screen times out.
